These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the JustBet platform. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
JustBet is an online entertainment platform operated by JustBet, a company registered in Costa Rica providing entertainment and data-processing services.
The platform is operated by JustBet, a company registered in Costa Rica providing entertainment and data-processing services. Costa Rica does not issue online-gambling licences and has no gambling regulator; accordingly, JustBet does not hold, claim, or operate under any Costa Rican gaming licence. JustBet operates as a locally registered company and does not represent that it is licensed or regulated as a gambling operator in any jurisdiction.
You must be at least 18 years old — or older where the law of your place of residence sets a higher minimum age for this type of activity — and have full legal capacity to enter into these Terms. By using the platform you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
The platform is not available to residents of, or persons located in, the following jurisdictions — whether because they are regulated markets requiring a local licence that JustBet does not hold, or because they are subject to international sanctions or prohibitions:
Access is also prohibited from the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine.
In addition, the platform may not be accessed from any other jurisdiction where online gambling, or accessing a platform of this kind, would be unlawful or would require a local licence that JustBet does not hold. Access from any restricted region is strictly prohibited. Attempting to circumvent these restrictions — including by using a VPN, proxy or any other method to disguise your location — is grounds for voiding any play, forfeiting related winnings, and suspending or closing your account. These restrictions are enforced at the network level.
You are responsible for your account. In particular:
Deposits and withdrawals are made in USDC on the Arbitrum network. Player funds are secured on-chain in an escrow contract. The platform is hybrid — partly on-chain and partly operated off-chain — and is not fully decentralized.
Because funds are held on-chain, you can perform an emergency withdrawal directly on-chain using a Merkle proof, even if the platform is offline or otherwise unavailable. Withdrawals may be subject to verification, conditions and network fees. On-chain settlement is final: once a transaction is confirmed on the blockchain it cannot be reversed, cancelled or charged back.
Game outcomes are determined by a commitment and reveal scheme based on HMAC-SHA256. Before you place a bet, JustBet generates a secret server seed for your account and publishes the SHA-256 hash of that seed. The published hash constitutes the commitment. Each bet you place combines the committed server seed, a client seed which you may set yourself, and a nonce which increases by one with each bet.
You may rotate your server seed at any time. On rotation the previous server seed is disclosed to you, and every bet placed under it can be recomputed and independently verified using publicly available cryptographic tools. JustBet also rotates server seeds automatically once one thousand bets have been placed under them, save that rotation is deferred while a multi-step game round placed under that seed remains open. Multiplayer rounds are determined under a separate scheme in which round seeds are taken from a hash chain, the head of which is published before the first round of that chain opens.
Game outcomes are not recorded on a blockchain, are not produced by a verifiable random function, and are not accompanied by a per-bet cryptographic proof. Verification is performed by recomputing the committed values as described above. No Costa Rican authority mandates anti-money-laundering or identity checks for this activity; JustBet applies its AML/KYC measures on a self-regulated basis. We reserve the right to verify your identity, request information on your source of funds, and to freeze, suspend or close accounts where we reasonably suspect fraud, money laundering, or a breach of these Terms.
The platform is for adults aged 18+ only. Gambling involves risk and should be treated as entertainment, not as a source of income. If you feel your play is becoming a problem, please read our Responsible Gaming page for guidance, self-help tools and support resources.

Any bonuses, rewards or promotions are optional and subject to their own specific terms, which are presented with the relevant offer. We may add, modify or withdraw promotions at any time, and may withhold bonus benefits obtained through abuse or breach of their terms.
Game Markets lets you bid for, hold and trade units of games on JustBet. Payouts depend on the game's revenue and can be zero, and unit prices can go down as well as up, so you can lose what you put in. Using more than one account is allowed in Game Markets; its limits apply per unit or per market, as each page shows. We may pause or limit a market or an auction. Nothing on JustBet is financial advice.
The platform, including its games, software, text, graphics and branding, is protected by intellectual-property rights owned by or licensed to JustBet. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the platform for personal, non-commercial entertainment, and you may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works without our permission.
The platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure. To the maximum extent permitted by law, JustBet is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for losses arising from your use of — or inability to use — the platform, blockchain network conditions, or the loss of your credentials or wallet access.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JustBet and its personnel from any claims, losses or expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the platform, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the platform, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the platform or other users. You may stop using the platform at any time; your on-chain funds remain accessible to you, including through the emergency on-chain withdrawal described above.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above. Your continued use of the platform after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You and JustBet will seek to resolve any dispute amicably and in good faith; where that is not possible, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Costa Rica, without prejudice to any mandatory rights you may have under the law of your place of residence.
