Trading

After the auction, the game's market opens and units can be bought and sold. Game shares (Pack shares and Bought shares) earn from the 20% weekly pool; only units trade on the game's market, after graduation. Game shares can be sold to other players on the share market (see Shares and units).
How the price moves
- Each market has a pool of units and USD. Prices are in USD.
- When you buy, the price goes up a little. When you sell, it goes down a little.
- The bigger the trade compared with the pool, the more it moves the price. You see this price impact before you confirm.
Buying and selling
- Buy: pay USD from your balance.
- Sell: you are paid USD.
- Choose 25%, 50%, 75%, Max or your own amount. You can only sell unlocked units.
Protection on every trade
| Protection | What it does |
|---|---|
| Price impact | Over 5% you confirm again. Nothing is blocked: the price is yours to judge. |
| Slippage | You set your own tolerance (the default is 2%). If the price moves past it before your trade fills, the trade cancels and nothing is charged. |
| Trading pause | In a market's first 30 days, a fall of more than 25% within an hour pauses trading for 15 minutes. |
| Launch trade cap | While a market is new (the launch period, its first 7 clean days), one trade is capped; the market page shows the cap. There is no daily limit and no limit on how much you can hold. |
Fee
Every trade pays 1%. See Fees and money flow.
